• CONDITIONS IMPOSED BY OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1.              All socket outlets used for public entertainment must be protected by residual current devices having rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mn (0.03 amps) (e.g. PA systems, etc.).  This must be inspected and tested annually (ABC entertainment regs 1995).

   

  2.              Responsible staff on duty at all times - duty managers, life guards & reception manned.

   

  3.              List of rules for use displayed.

   

  4.              Safety procedures - normal operating procedure and emergency action plan.

   

  5.              Fire fighting equipment, electrical certificates (installation), fire alarm systems, gas certificates, emergency lighting, pre-opening checks by duty manager.

   

  6.              1st aiders on duty at all times.

   

  7.              Qualified lifeguards.

   

  8.              Music not played at high levels - minimum disturbance.

   

  9.              All external doors closed during public entertainment.

   

  10.              No firework displays.

   

  11.              Contracted team members CRB checked.

   

  12.              Allerdale Borough Council child protection policy.
