CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. All transactions are pre-arranged and conducted on a one-to-one basis (rarely more than 1 or 2 per day) hence the suitability of the customer can be assessed.
2. The product has to be kept in one place for 24 hours and dispensed from that place.
3. Minimum container size is 10 litres hence not suitable for public drinking.
4. During the working day transactions are carried out “at the door” and public are not allowed into the process area.
5. Brewery tours are carried out in the evening when there is no process activity.
6. These are pre-booked tours and visitors are given only one half pint of beer to try.
7. There is no hospitality functions.
8. No more than 16 people per tour.
9. The brewery is regularly assessed by local EHO and trading standards.
10. Customers for beer are dealt with on a one-to-one basis by the brewery manager.
11. Tours are followed by an inclusive meal in the adjacent public house.
12. Children under 16 are not allowed in the process areas except for educational visits when supervised by teachers or on brewery visits by special arrangements and must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult.
