CONDITIONS IMPOSED BY OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. A site license has been developed to require an authorised trader to comply with the Council’s objectives in respect of the licensing objectives that may reasonably apply in respect of the catering vehicle.
2. A copy of the draft conditions have been submitted.
3. Vehicles used to be properly licensed, insured and inspected.
4. Provision of means of communicating with the police to report incidents that may occur on the car park or the visible surrounding area.
5. Registered with Food Health & Safety.
6. Have a current Environmental Health Office’s certificate in respect of food hygiene.
7. Public liability insurance and indemnify the council against all claims.
8. When in operation, vehicle is to be locked from inside.
9. Only vendor or his staff shall enter the vehicle.
10. No sharp edges exposed to the public and no heavy items in the trading hatch.
11. Fire extinguisher.
12. No obstruction of access or exit routes.
13. No loud hailing, amplified speech, music, special lighting effects.
14. No generator or refrigeration units.
15. Trade waste disposal arrangements and litter bins.
16. Cleaning the site before departure.
17. To be sited at the Washington Street side of the car park to prevent nuisance of smell.
18. Not to employ minors or persons under 18 years.
19. Duty of care for young persons especially unaccompanied children present on the car park after 10.00 pm, to include informing the relevant authority where there is cause for concern.
