  Mandatory Condition where the licence authorises the exhibition of films

   

  (a)               Where a club premises certificate authorises the exhibition of films, the certificate must include a condition requiring the admission of children to the exhibition of any film to be restricted in accordance with this condition.

   

  (b)               Where the film classification body is specified in the certificate, unless subsection (3)(b) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made by that body.

   

  (c)               Where -

   

  (i)                   the film classification body is not specified in the licence; or

   

  (ii)                            the relevant licensing authority has notified the premises which holds the certificate that this subsection applies to the film in question, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.

   

  (d)               In this section -

   

                              “children” means persons aged under 18; and

   

  “film classification body” means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c.39) (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).

   

   

  Mandatory condition where Door Supervisors are provided

   

  Any individual employed on the premises to carry out a security activity must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

   

   

   

   

• CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

    1.              Premises kept secure at all times.  CCTV system and fenced yard with lockable gates.  Burglar alarms fitted and set when building empty.

   

    2.              All staff aware of line management.

   

    3.              Local Police Station number available in school office.

   

    4.              Comprehensive risk assessments in place including up to date fire risk assessments which adhere to the fire regulations.

   

    5.              All security systems (CCTV, fire alarm, fire equipment and burglar alarm) serviced regularly.

   

    6.              Sufficient staff members trained in first aid.

   

    7.              All electrical items subject to PAT, which is up to date.

   

    8.              Building has just received its 5 year electrical certificate.

   

    9.              Regular fire drills take place.

   

  10.              Noise level monitored within and around school community so as to keep excellent community links and partnerships.

   

  11.              Member of staff always available to monitor activities and take appropriate action.

   

  12.              All staff and visitors have enhanced CRB checks. 

   

  13.              Robust child protection procedures in place.

   

  14.              Security locks on entrance doors and clear procedures for collection of pupils on leaving the building.

   

  15.              Appropriate adult:pupil ratios maintained at all times.
