CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. Digital CCTV cameras are installed and will operate during the hours alcohol is sold.
2. The memory will last for 28 days and recordings will be made available to Police and other agencies including the Local Authority.
3. There is an online incident reporting system and any incident involving the sale of alcohol will be reported via this system to the head office of the Premises Licence Holder.
4. All incidents will be reported to and monitored by the Store Management.
5. Point of sale notices will be displayed advising that any person who appears under the age of 25 will be asked for proof of age.
6. Training will be given to all staff of the consequences for adults who buy alcohol on behalf of children.
7. All refusals will be recorded in a refusals book kept in store.
8. Employees will only accept photographic identification as proof of age to confirm that a customer who appears under 25 is legally entitled to purchase alcohol i.e.
· Passport
· Picture Driving Licence
· Any identification card with the PASS hologram
9. All members of staff involved in the sale of goods to the public will be trained to ensure they avoid making sales of alcoholic products to those under the age of 18.
10. The premises will display signs reminding customers it is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol by someone aged under 18 or for someone aged under 18.
11. The premises will adopt a “Challenge 25” policy and will display signs in store to such effect.
12. There is a till prompt for any sale of alcohol which will remind any member of staff that they need to be aware that the sale is the sale of a Challenge 25 product and they should ensure that the person looks over the age of 25.
