CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. Provide a comprehensive event plan.
2. Produce a comprehensive risk assessment and implement any recommendations.
3. Provide adequate Public Liability Insurance.
4. Ensure all contractors are competent.
5. Brief all staff/stewards thoroughly.
6. Programme suitable performers so not to attract or incite disorder.
7. Liaise closely with the Police and act on their advice.
8. Provide properly trained stewards.
9. Produce and disseminate a plan to deal with crime/disorder.
10. Provide full risk assessment and reduce risks where possible.
11. Liaise with Emergency Services and act on advice.
12. Provide a comprehensive event plan which details contingency plans.
13. Provide adequate first aid provision.
14. Each event should be designed to be intrinsically safe including the possible use of appropriate barriers to exclude people from certain areas of site.
15. Programme suitable acts and entertainment according to the site and time of day.
16. Liaise with environmental services to determine appropriate noise levels - check and record levels regularly.
17. Use competent contractors to operate sound systems and machinery.
18. Implement build schedule to avoid nuisance - building only on site during reasonable hours.
19. Include in event plan a policy for dealing with lost children.
20. Train all staff/stewards in the policy.
21. Design site to help protect children - may include the use of barriers/cordons.
