CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. Provide a comprehensive event plan.
2. Provide a comprehensive risk assessment and implement any recommendations.
3. Provide adequate PL insurance.
4. Ensure all contractors are competent.
5. Brief all staff and stewards thoroughly.
6. Programme suitable acts and entertainment that will not attract an audience that are likely to cause disorder.
7. Ensure that acts and entertainment are suitable for the audience and do not incite disorder.
8. Provide properly trained stewards to reduce and deal with disorder. There will be 4 SIA security and 8 general stewards per performance together with one supervisor and overnight cover to guard the set.
9. Produce an Event plan to deal with crime and disorder and brief all staff and stewards thoroughly.
10. Liaise closely with Police and act on their advice.
11. The event will be designed to be intrinsically safe including the possible use of appropriate barriers to exclude people from certain areas within the site.
12. A full risk assessment will be produced and risks reduced wherever possible.
13. An event plan to include contingency plans will be produced.
14. Staff and stewards will be thoroughly briefed.
15. Emergency services will be contacted and their advice followed.
16. Adequate first aid provision will be provided.
17. Programme suitable acts and entertainment according to the site and time of day.
18. Check with Environmental services to determine appropriate noise levels.
19. Regularly check noise levels.
20. Use competent contractors to operate sound systems and machinery.
21. Only build on site during reasonable hours.
22. Produce a build schedule to avoid nuisance.
23. Write and implement a child protection policy.
24. Train staff in child protection.
25. Include a policy for dealing with lost children in the event plan.
26. Brief staff and stewards on plans and policies.
27. Design the site to help protect children and use signage instructing parents to closely supervise children.
